The neighborhood community of Garland is located on the southwest side of Plymouth off of highway 101 just south of County Road 6. Garland is an older neighborhood featuring excellent homes and a scenic wooded environment full of mature trees. The neighborhood provides residents with a quiet and secluded atmosphere. The community consists of 175 single family homes featuring ranch, rambler, split level, and traditional housing styles with prices ranging $200,000 to $900,000. The closest school to Garland is Gleason Lake Elementary School. Gleason Lake serves over 630 students in Kindergarten through 5th grade providing an excellent educational program designed to foster a lifelong desire to learn. Other schools in the area include Plymouth Creek Elementary School, Central Middle School, Wayzata High School, West Lutheran High School, Providence Academy, and Fourth Baptist Christian School.
